Chris Stewart is a Canadian artist and writer.

His initial training was in animation, and he worked at an animation studio for over five years, honing his skills as an artist, editor and photographer. During that time, Chris also started a fun little website dedicated to his love of candy. This website,, quickly became a huge success on the Internet, garnering attention from national and international newspapers, magazines and television shows.

After his years at the animation studio, Chris ventured off (with his lovely wife Allison) to pursue his own artistic interests. He started a photography business, Beware The Cheese Photography (, and continued to work on Candy Critic. He also managed to fit the time in to earn a degree in Communications at Carleton University in Ottawa.

Chris continues to work on his artistic projects, write articles for various publications, and help companies, organizations and government agencies all over the world with their social media (including graphic design, planning, and online video content). His current artistic projects include writing several books, illustrating and writing a comic book series based on his love of candy and snacks, working on fine art photography, and exploring all of the inspirations, big and small, the world has to offer.
